WHOS-IN Pro - Admin Help

Convert Database to Pro:

WHOS-IN Pro uses an extensively updated database with many new tables, fields and default values. Before you can run WHOS-IN Pro you will need to CONVERT your database to the latest version if you are running an older version 2, 2000, 2002 or 2003 database.

NOTE: No conversion is required if you are upgrading from an older Pro version to the latest Pro version (this is done automatically).

To convert your database to Pro format, browse to the server WHOS-IN Pro folder and run the CONVERT.EXE program.

The conversion process will import your existing Users, Groups, Status Types, DueBack Types, and Default User settings into WHOS-IN Pro.

The conversion program will NOT convert your old Transaction Log (it will start fresh), or your old Serial Number (because WHOS-IN Pro requires a new 16 digit Serial Number).
